Here we will learn how to play the Guitar Chords

You can start learning the guitar by any Chord.

Definition of CHORD: According Google Dictionary, “In music, a GUITAR CHORD is a SET of NOTES played on a guitar. A chord’s notes are often played simultaneously, but they can be played sequentially in a arpeggio. The implementation of guitar chords depends on the guitar tuning.” The CHORDS can be termed as KEYS.

There are both MAJOR and MINOR KEYS in MUSIC.Major-chords-guitar

In this training we are going to learn the SEVEN MAJOR CHORDS in the guitar. As said earlier, when you begin learning how to play the guitar, you can choose to start with any chord (key).

THESE ARE THE SEVEN MAJOR CHORDS (KEYS)

C MAJOR

D MAJOR

Key-d-major-guitar

E MAJOR

Key-e-major-guitar

F MAJOR

A MAJOR

Key-a-major-guitar

B MAJOR

Key-b-major-guitar

These Major keys played with the co-ordination with other keys subsequently. We’ll be learning every key together with their CO-COORDINATING keys.

Something else to note here, the coordination of keys depends on which kind of song you are playing. Some keys will require that you use the coordination of three keys while others will require that you incorporate the minor keys.

  2. Hi! this is awesome! I bought my first guitar, a used one, from a charity shop 2 years ago, and while I’ve been strumming on it, I have not really given learning chords a good go. Will come back, guitar all strung up (yup, missing 2 strings!) and learn something – thanks for sharing your knowledge!

    • I like your zeal in wanting to learn how to play the guitar and that you have a guitar already. I know what you mean when you say that you are missing two strings! It sounds boring without some key strings even if it’s one. You can always replace it.
